Congressman David Davis supports ‘Right to Life' Legislation

Congressman David Davis has co-sponsored H.R. 618, "The Right to Life Act" which implements equal protection under the 14th article of amendment to the Constitution for the right to life of each born and preborn human person.

"This legislation declares that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being and moves for the protection of life at conception," Congressman David Davis said. "Life begins at conceptions and that life should be protected. This bill defines human person as each and every member of the species homo sapiens at all stages of life, including the moment at which as individual member of the human species comes into being."

H.R. 618 has been referred from the House Committee on Judiciary to the Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties.
